How long will the xTerra EU150 Hybrid last?

The Xterra EU150 Hybrid has a rather light weight of only 70.5 lbs. when fully assembled and purports to hold up to a 265 lb. maximum capacity. It is designed for beginning to light use and will last maybe a year or so with proper care and maintenance. Xterra barely covers the EU150 with a 1-year warranty on the frame, brake, and parts. This warranty coverage is disappointing but standard in the lower end line by Xterra.

Brief Overview

The Xterra EU150 is a start up innovative fitness machine that combines a limited elliptical stride along with an upright bike to create a hybrid piece of fitness equipment. It is budget-friendly and a choice model for the shorter and lighter beginning consumer looking to ride and trek their way to better fitness health. Financing is available along with a 30-day money back guarantee for those who are unsatisfied with the EU150.

Overall Quality

The Xterra EU150 Hybrid offers a total body workout with a limited 13” stride length while a lighter 11 lb. flywheel eases transitions between the 24 levels of resistance used to tempt consumers to intensify workouts. The padded seat moves both horizontally and vertically to fit different sizes while non-slip pedals are large and have a higher ledge on one side to keep feet steady. The console is simple with a pleasing blue back lit 3.7” screen that shares 8 points of performance information. It also carries 23 different preset programs targeting muscle tone and building cardio health. Heartrate information is captured in the fixed handlebars while moving handlebars assist in toning upper body extremities. In addition, the EU150 has a modest 3.5’ frame that easily moves on the attached wheels when needed for those with smaller living areas.

Conclusion

The Xterra EU150 Hybrid is a lightweight basic machine that has a few good features for the beginning user wanting to join in the joy of owning an indoor fitness machine. It is budget-friendly and does come with a warranty albeit a small one. The 23 built in programs and 24 levels of resistance are great features though the lighter frame does give us pause as we all know that less expensive machines are not built to last – especially if heavy use is involved.
