How long will the True M30 last?

The feature we love the most about the True M30 is that it has an outstanding build. If you do decide to purchase this elliptical you will not have to worry about it breaking down and even if it did you have an excellent company to be there for you. We do want to note, though, that you really should take the time to take the best care of your elliptical as you can especially if you are going to spend so much money. Simple things like unplugging your elliptical when not in use can add years to your machine.

Brief Overview

If you are looking in this higher price category you will have hopefully thought through your likes and dislikes in an elliptical. If you value technology and a ton of features, then the True M30 is probably not for you. But if you are looking to buy what could be your last elliptical, then you may want to seriously consider the M30. The high quality and great design but lack of console upgrades have led us to place the True M30 in our Third Place 2021 Best Buy slot for the $2,000 to $2,999 range.

Overall Quality

It's hard to really encapsulate how strong the M30's build is and how reliable True is. You could say True is like Disney. They have been around for years and have been making such high-quality products all of those years. And, they just keep making great stuff. Yes, you do have to pick between which kid's college fund you'll give up to go to Disney Land, but hey it's Disney! Likewise, the True M30 has a really steep price tag but man is it a great company and a strong build. The M30 itself is backed by a lifetime frame, five-year parts, and one-year labor warranty. The center drive design in the elliptical is also another fan-favorite among the Treadmill Doctor peeps. We love how center drives evenly distribute the weight of the user and the wear and tear which help prolong your machine's durability. We also like the little touches that True included like the step off pads that help you adjust and rest during your workout. Overall, the M30’s build is just excellent.

But of course, all we are talking about is the build of the M30. So if you like a nice console or really any other sort of feature that is now so common among higher quality ellipticals, you won't find it here. The M30 will sustain a lot of different users but it is not going to be as thrilling as a lot of the other ellipticals with the same price tag. When you look at the True M30 compared to other ellipticals at this price point and even in lower price points you can see that True does not offer as many features for the price. SO hopefully, the build is enough for you.

In previous reviews, we have said that the True M30 offers an excellent balance of motion, quality, and engineering for the price range. We have noted that this elliptical does not have a ton of technology but that it does have an incredible amount of quality and excellent customer service from True making it one of our Top 10 ellipticals for 2017.

We are aware that the M30 does not have as much to offer as other ellipticals in regards to the console, upgrades, or features. But, you cannot ignore the great quality and build that True has included and the type of company that stands behind this elliptical. Taking all of this into account, we would recommend our Third Place 2021 Best Buy for the $2,000 to $2,999 category for a moderate to heavy user.
