A full featured commercial treadmill that is being marketed to the home. One of the best you can get and it should be at this price!

The Star Trac E-TRx is one of the best treadmills you can find. This is what should be expected after considering the $8,395 price tag. You get what you pay for with this machine, so if you've got the money, you should consider this model. It was the 2nd runner up for our Best Buy award in the treadmills sold at $4,000 or more.

The walking area is very large. People with wider stances might find this to be more comfortable because the belt has a width of 21.5" and is 60" long. Most treadmills have smaller belts that measure in at 20" x 60".

The motor on this machine is nothing short of great. In fact, you're not going to find a single treadmill that we reviewed that has a motor capable of producing more power than this one can.

The cushioning system is great as well. A Soft Trac triple cell cushioning system absorbs shock to alleviate some of the impact that running has on your joints and back. You won't find many models with a more forgiving running surface.

The projected reliability on this model is excellent. There are very few treadmills that have a life expectancy that is comparable to this one. The quality of parts is impressive, as well. This is exactly what you want to see in a treadmill that asks for as much money as this one does.

The warranty on the Star Trac E-TRx is also really good. The headphone jack, iPod connector, and USB port are covered for 90 days; wear items have parts and labor covered for 1 year; other parts are covered for 10 years with labor covered for 1; and the motor and MCB have parts and labor covered for 5 years. Star Trac made a great treadmill and they aren't afraid to back it. With selling price of $8,395, they shouldn't be.
