How long will the SportsArt T615 last?

The SportsArt T615 CHR treadmill is a basic, heavy-duty commercial model with an assembled weight of 233 lbs. It features an impressive 400 lbs. weight capacity, sturdy steel frame, and curved sustaining bars for the console, as well side grips that are designed to sustain athletes during workouts. There is a commercial lifetime frame and suspension warranty, 5-years motor and parts warranty, 2-year wear items, 3-year labor, and a 90-day high wearable items warranty. With this in mind, we believe a light to moderate user who does not want entertainment while they exercise will find quite a few years of life in this model.

Brief Overview

The SportsArt T615 CHR is a simple, yet efficient treadmill that while it doesn't have the newest features like online connectivity or compatibility with any apps – still offers light commercial quality and capacity while featuring a cushion deck as well as a console offering 6 (13 if you count a few as multiples) basic workout programs to choose from. The running space is a little short for this price range coming in at 20” x 58”, but the company touts the belt is resistant to static cling and is made from a low friction material (pretty much what everyone else is using these days).

Overall Quality

While it does not offer many options, the SportsArt T615 CHR has innovative deck which provides an extra 30% cushioning that will keep you bolstered and comfortable during your workout. Its console is equipped with a tri-colored LED display which features 3 multiple readouts and 8 quick access keys, but you will need to purchase the heart rate strap and fan separately.
The SportsArt Fitness T615 treadmill is equipped with a motorized incline system. The machine also has automatic adjustments so that no matter what level or training program used, it will be maintained mechanically - allowing runners perfect consistency throughout their workouts. With 12 mph and 15% incline settings, the T615-CHR kicks your workout up a notch and gets you ready for almost any activity including running or walking.
The console is not compatible with any online fitness apps and does not have Bluetooth or WiFi. It also lacks amenities like sound system, but it has a media shelf you can use to support your tablet/smartphone as well dual water bottle holders.

Conclusion

The SportsArt T615 CHR is a no frills, basic, non-folding treadmill that we believe is overpriced for the options offered. Simple research shows comparably priced treadmills offering advanced technology, larger running surfaces, larger motors, larger rollers, and built-in fans. We recommend researching other treadmill models before spending the amount of money requested by SportsArt for their T615 CHR model.
