The CE 9.0 is a solid quality elliptical but like all new machines, it takes a little time for the bugs to get worked out. We would until next year before buying this unit to make sure they have worked out all of the bugs.

Quality / Philosophy
Smooth has focused on making their treadmills feature heavy. From the large, stable frames to their patented impact absorption feature, it is hard to get on a Smooth treadmill and not be impressed. With continued improvement in the company and lineup this year, it bodes well for another strong year by Smooth.
Outlook
Smooth has quickly grown into one of the largest specialty distributors in the US. There is something to be said for being one of the first to the market and their push into the Internet early on paid off.
