Weslo Momentum G 3.8 Elliptical Review
TREADMILL DOCTOR NOTE :
The Momentum G 3.8 is simply not worth the money.
Weslo Momentum G 3.8 Momentum G 3.8 has a great tag price of about $184. So, when you are tight on budget, this could be a better option for you, i.e. if you do not mind having a machine that is of low quality. Its durability is also questionable. On a brighter side though, this machine has a modern LCD display, which is not typical for a machine in this category. Its design is very compact making it beneficial for your limited spaces at home. It is also comforting to know that you can test the machine for 30 days and return it if you are not satisfied. In most cases, you will. Unfortunately, those are the only positive things about this trainer. Its stride length of 12 inches is below average. It gives you a jerky ride, thereby, limiting your workout. Models in this category have lengths of 18" to 23". Since built-in programs are absent from this model, you will have to adjust your speed manually. Some models at this price range already have built-in programs. There is no cushioning on the pedals either. Thus, pedaling it will be uncomfortable to some users. Its 90-day warranty is very disappointing. The manufacturer could have at least offered a year warranty for labor. It only demonstrates that its components are of low quality. With its unit weight, the stability of the machine is questionable. To be sure, do not use it if you weigh around 250 pounds. The only thing the Weslo Momentum G 3.8 is good for is a clothes hanger. Just remember that $184 is an awfully expensive clothes hanger. Overall, this machine is not worth your money. If you have extra cash, you just have to go with a machine in the $500 range.
