How long will the Spirit XIC 600 Upright last?

Formed from high strength steel, the Spirit XIC600 Upright Cycle weighs a respectable 141 lbs. and holds users who weigh 300 lbs. or less. It is tailored for moderate use in a residential setting and comes with a lifetime frame warranty, 3 years on parts, and 1 year on labor. The XIC600 is durable and built to last. With a regular maintenance schedule this bike will last through many years of workout fun.

Brief Overview

The Spirit XIC600 Upright Cycle brings commercial grade quality into the comfort of a home setting. It has a heavier flywheel along with a good belt drive system, and is a basic, well-built machine. Likewise, the XIC600 is budget friendly and designed with a 42” compact footprint that will slide easily into any workout space. It was designed for those focusing solely on performance and does not contain technology outside of collecting heartrate info from a strap that is not included in the purchase.

Overall Quality

The Spirit XIC600 Upright Cycle was our third-place winner for 2021 Best Buy for the $700 to $999 price point and offers a quality machine for those who are budget-conscious yet want a decent riding workout. The flywheel is heavy duty steel and weighs a hefty 48.5 lbs. allowing for many levels of resistance controlled by a simple rotary knob that increases or decreases with a quick twist. Keep in mind you cannot brake indoor cycles like a normal bike so push down on the knob to stop the machine and keep from injuring feet or legs. The XIC600 has a belt driven system that keeps performance smooth during each exercise session. The console is battery operated and contains a simple LCD screen that displays feedback throughout each workout and is easy to use. The seat is replaceable and can be adjusted up and down, and back and forth while the pedals have a choice of either toe cages or straps for riding ease.

Dave Hains- sturdy bike Jan 21, 2021

The Spirit xic600 is a sturdy bike that feels smooth and is quiet. Feels like a commercial-grade bike to me but the console is a nightmare ............ hard to figure out background light doesn't stay on long enough to figure out how to program things but the bike itself is awesome.
