A very solid machine from Smooth. They have really picked up the pace over the last few years in both customer service and the quality of the product.

Smooth Fitness sells ellipticals and treadmills through their websites, dealers, and affiliates and some mass market websites like Sears.com and Amazon.com. They have blanketed the web with so many people promoting them it is hard to turn around on the web without bumping into them?just remember that the majority of the people promoting them are affiliate sites.
Quality / Philosophy
Smooth has focused on making their treadmills feature heavy. From the large, stable frames to their patented impact absorption feature, it is hard to get on a Smooth treadmill and not be impressed. Customer support got better in the past two years. Additionally, Smooth started concentrating on the product again and the results are impressive.
Outlook
Smooth has quickly grown into one of the largest specialty distributors in the US. There is something to be said for being one of the first to the market and their push into the Internet early paid off. Although some cheaper sellers are moving much more online, Smooth is the king of the business in relation to direct sales of higher-end machines.
