Excellent treadmill with the poor reputation of Proform's customer service dept. With this quality of machine, chances are you won't ever need to use their service.

The Proform Trailrunner 2.0 is a perfect example of how Proform has stepped up their game recently. It used to be that we would think you were joking if we heard that Proform was selling a treadmill for $1,499 or that they were making quality machines. Now, they have at least a few models that we are impressed with, and this is one of them.

A large walking area is provided by this model. The belt measures in at 20" x 60", which has become the standard size for walking belts on today's treadmills. This should be plenty of room for taller users to run on comfortably without altering their stride.

A very nice motor is running this machine. There are several models that sell for $4,000 or more that have similar power producing capabilities. Speeds of up to 12 mph are attainable on this treadmill, so even experienced runners should be able to challenge themselves.

The cushioning system on this treadmill is phenomenal. ProTech Advances Adjustable Cushioning is used to reduce the impact that running has on your joints and back. Its adjustability is fairly unique, and it gives you the option to try various settings and see what works for you. You'll have to spend at least $3,000 to find a running surface that is more forgiving and will hold up as well as this one.

The projected reliability of this model is good. It has a life expectancy that is comparable to models that cost several hundred dollars more. You also get good quality parts. In this price range, it's hard to find better.

The warranty on the Proform Trailrunner 2.0 is very good. Labor is covered for 2 years, parts are covered for 5 years, and the motor and frame are covered for life. This is the kind of coverage you find when the manufacturer is confident in the treadmill they produced.
