High quality at a bargain price should have you seriously consider this Proform if you are looking in this price range.

For $1,299, you are getting a great deal. We even gave this machine our Best Buy award for treadmills sold at $1,000-$1,299. The combination of quality and affordability make this model worth considering.

The power this motor can generate is well above that of the average treadmill. You're certainly not going to find a more powerful motor in this price range. There are several companies that are willing to give you a comparable motor at this price point, but there are more who routinely charge upwards of $2,000 to get this kind of power.

It also has a good cushioning system, relative to the cost. FS2 full surface suspension cushioning is used to reduce the impact of running of your joints. This system works better than a lot of those that are on the market. Many of the treadmills with similar shock absorbing capabilities are sold at a much higher price than this one, although it's not impossible to find some that sell for less.

This model is fairly reliable. It's nothing to write home about, but it's nothing to worry about, either. You can find a few cheaper models that might last longer, and you can several more expensive models that can't hold their own against this treadmill.

The noise this machine produces when operating is at a decent level. It's good but not great. The volume is pretty standard for this price range.

The warranty is a bright spot with this model. While you can find some comparably priced treadmills with similar warranties, you're not going to find a warranty that is substantially better, without shelling out at least $2,000.

In the end, it's the combination of factors that make this treadmill worth considering. This model is slightly above average, but it's the price that really stands out. Many of the items found on this machine are only found on other treadmills that cost hundreds more.
