How long will the Proform City L6 last?

The Proform City L6 is an entry-level treadmill that may or may not last depending on your size and intensity of your workout. If you want to run faster than 8 MPH this treadmill might not be the choice for you, but we do think with light use (no running) and quality maintenance you might get a few years out of this basic treadmill.

Brief Overview

The ProForm City L6 is a newer edition to the ProForm line. Users are able to enjoy the same great features of more costly models in a scaled-down size. Way scaled down, as the tread is only 17.5" x 45" so if you are wider than the average bear this might not be the choice for you. This is definitely a space saving model which can be conveniently tucked away under a bed or desk due to its narrow tread.

Overall Quality

ProShox cushioning is a featured comfort addition with the City L6. This adds a little bounce to your stride and helps with shock absorption. Almost like an afterthought, it does offer a small display screen along with Bluetooth capability. The ProForm City L6 Treadmill is a good option for those who are interested in starting their fitness journey or for those on a budget.
The City L6 is not made for larger customers as its weight capacity is only 250lbs so no one size fits all option here. Honestly that is not a lot of weight as muscle weighs more than fat! The machine offers a footprint of 29” wide 70.25” deep x44.5” tall and weighs only 125 lbs. when boxed. The IFit programs deliver the world to your fingertips if you remember to supply your own tablet. Remember not to sprint off as you might fall off this machine if you take too long of a stride.

Conclusion

The Proform City L6 shows a decent functionality for the beginning user and should get the job done at a basic level. We believe this budget-friendly machine will appeal to many space-conscious operators who limit their workouts to less than 8 MPH. Luckily for a lot of us speedwalking is in so it just might be worth taking a look at this newest entry when reviewing your purchasing choices.
