Seriously, it sounds like we are singing praises on a brand we once savaged and that is true. Proform still makes some essentially horrible models (this isn't one of them but you can do much better in the Proform line for just a bit more) but you shouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater. They are getting much better and doing it at a supersonic pace.
Spend the extra money and you will be happier over the long run on the 7.0 Crosstrainer model. It has better parts, better features, and may be able to spin straw into gold...we'll maybe not that last part.
