This middle price range really is a good middle-ground for users who like to work out for about an hour three or four days a week but they don't want to break the bank. Despite the warranty, we do foresee the NordicTrack Commercial S22i Studio Cycle withstanding at least a few years of moderate use. We do caution you about NordicTrack’s customer service. If you do find yourself needing some parts or repairs, be sure to call the Treadmill Doctor who answers within the first few rings instead of the first few hours.
But, of course, we still have some aspects that we do not like. Without trying to sound like a broken record, NordicTrack’s iFit membership is really pricey. Sure you get to enjoy their fitness classes for free for one year, but once that year is up you need to shell out an additional $500 dollars a year to keep iFit. And it is not hard to see that the NordicTrack Commercial S22i Studio Cycle loses a little of its value without the iFit subscription. Lastly, NordicTrack has only included a ten-year frame, two-year parts, and one-year labor warranty that does not stand out among other bikes in this price range.
Peloton seems to be all the rage these days, but NordicTrack has been offering valuable bikes for quite some time and they are offering their version at a cheaper price. Comparatively, the Commercial S22i Studio Cycle is a great bike but we, of course, have our setbacks when we look at just this bike. Despite those setbacks, we have awarded the NordicTrack Commercial S22i Studio Cycle our First Place 2021 Best Buy Winner for the $1,500 to $1,999 dollar range.
If you aren’t totally convinced that the Peloton bike is as good as all of the commercials make it out to be, then you may be able to see just how valuable the NordicTrack Commercial S22i Studio Cycle is especially when compared to the Peloton model. For starters, you get the same twenty-two-inch touchscreen, valuable iFit subscription (for one year..), rotating console, and a strong build all for $300 bucks less than its Peloton alternative. Additionally, NordicTrack has included twenty-four resistance levels, twenty levels of digital incline, and ten levels of decline. NordicTrack and other Icon family brands are some of the only brands that offer decline capabilities at an affordable rate.

The NordicTrack Commercial S22i Studio Cycle won our First Place 2020 Best Buy award for the $1,000 to $1,999 dollar range last year as well. We found value in the same features and price point as this year.
While we are not in love with the iFit subscription price or the warranty, we do think the NordicTrack Commercial S22i Studio Cycle is a great value for the price. If you are a moderate user in the mid-range price point. Subsequently, we have awarded the Commercial S22i Studio Cycle First Place 2021 Best Buy Award for the $1,000 to $1,999 dollar range.
