If you were only going to use it as a regular treadmill, it would be well worth considering at $2000. With the massive incline range and full features, it is easily the most unique treadmill on the market today!

The NordicTrack Incline Trainer X9i is a very solid treadmill. When you consider its extreme versatility as an incline trainer, and the fact that it's packed with features, you get an idea of the value you're truly getting for $1,999. If you find that you get bored on treadmills, this one might be for you as you can change up your routine and have many features to distract yourself with.

The walking area is a very good size. The belt measures in at 20" x 62", which gives you a good 2" in length over standard treadmill belts. This will give plenty of room to comfortably run even if you have a large stride. It should be noted, however, that high inclines will cause the console to block use of part of the belt.

The motor isn't bad, but it's not exactly impressive at this price. You can find models that cost almost $1,000 less that have similar power producing capabilities. You can reach speeds of up to 12 mph, which should be enough to challenge even serious runners.

The cushioning system is one of the best you can get for under $2,000. Reflex cushioning is used to reduce the impact that running has on your joints and back. You can find more forgiving running surfaces around this price, but it's not the norm.

The projected reliability is very good with this machine. It usually takes an extra $2,000 to find a machine that we expect to last as long as this one. The quality of parts is also very impressive for a $1,999 treadmill. It also helps that it's an incline trainer. At high inclines, gravity assists the parts by helping to rotate the belt.

The warranty on the NordicTrack Incline Trainer X9i is what you hope for. Labor is covered for 2 years; parts and electronics are covered for 5 years; and the motor, deck, and frame are covered for life. This shows that NordicTrack is willing to stand behind this product.
