Good machine for the money but if you are a serious user, pay extra to move up in the NordicTrack lineup.

The NordicTrack C 900 Pro is pretty good treadmill. For $999, you're getting a good deal on a fairly well put together machine with lots of features. Some corners were cut, but NordicTrack knew where they could get away with it. If you're budget is tight, this isn't a bad choice, but if you've got some extra cash, the more expensive NordicTrack models are worth the increased price.

The walking area is a good size. The belt measures in at 20" x 60", which is exactly what you hope to see. This is the standard belt size in today's market, and it's big enough to comfortably fit most users' stride.

The motor on this machine is great. Its power producing capabilities top its price range and put some of the more expensive models to shame. You can spend over $2,000 and still end up with a motor that can't do what this one can. Speeds of up to 12 mph are attainable, so even serious runners should be able to push themselves with this treadmill.

The cushioning system for this mode is very impressive. QuadFlex cushioning is used to reduce impact on your joints and back. It uses four sets of cushioning which NordicTrack claims will help you to, 'perform better and faster for incredible results.' Regardless of whether or not that's true, you're not likely to find a significantly more forgiving running surface for under $3,000.

The projected reliability is good with this model. Its life expectancy is about on par with most of the mother models that are slightly higher in price. The quality of parts isn't bad. Some cheaper parts were used in order to keep the cost low, but it was done in areas most people won't notice. It's still good quality for a treadmill sold at $999.

The warranty on the NordicTrack C 900 Pro is very average. Labor is covered for 1 year, parts are covered for three years, and the motor and frame are covered for life. This isn't really a bad or a great amount of coverage.
