Cybex 750T Treadmill Review
treadmill Doctor Note :
If you have $8000 burning a hole in your pocket, this one is your choice!
We have people who write in and say they want to only buy one treadmill for the rest of their life- if that is your goal, be ready to pony up for the 750T.
The Cybex 750T is an extremely solid treadmill. If you are looking for a machine that will require minimal maintenance and will never have to be replaced, this is a perfect choice. At $7,895, it will not come cheap. The warranty is pretty weak for the high cost, but it's doubtful that you'd ever need to use it anyway.
The walking area is quite large. The belt measures in at 22" x 62", which is 2" wider and 2" longer than the standard 20" x 60" walking belt that is found on many of today's treadmills. If you are a larger user, or you plan to use this model at its highest speeds, the extra room will be helpful.
A great motor powers this machine. There is not a single treadmill we reviewed that has greater power producing capabilities. Speeds of up to 15.6 mph are attainable, so almost everyone should be able to challenge themselves.
A disappointing cushioning system comes on this model. IS3 Intelligent Suspension System is used to reduce the impact that running has on your joints and back. You can find treadmills with more forgiving and durable running surfaces selling for less than $1,000.
As far as projected reliability is concerned, this machine is great. Only the Woodway Curve has a longer life expectancy. The quality of parts used is unbeaten by any treadmill.
The warranty on the Cybex 750T is disappointing at this price range. The belt and deck are covered for 1 year, labor is covered for 2 years, the motor and parts are covered for 5 years, and the frame is covered for 10 years. You should expect better coverage considering the price, but this warranty was designed for a commercial setting. Chances are, you'll never need to use the warranty because of how durable this treadmill is.
