BH T9 Treadmill Review
treadmill Doctor Note :
The huge color display is a big plus on a good machine. Get a discount on a dealer if you like this one.
Big treadmill with a big, beautiful screen and a big price tag. High end components with a high end price.
The BH T9 is a nice treadmill. It has quality parts and a big color display that users will love. At $4,599, however, it's a horrible value. Unless you can get a huge discount, it's not a good idea to buy this machine. You can get much better options in this price range, and you aren't too far off from reaching the commercial range.
The walking area is quite large. The belt measures in at 22" x 60", which is a good 2" wider than the standard 20" x 60" walking belt that is found on many of today's treadmills. Users with a wider stance may find this model to be more accommodating than others.M
A nice motor powers this machine, but you can spend $2,000 less and get a treadmill that has similar power producing capabilities. Speeds of up to 12 mph are attainable, so even experienced runners should have no problem challenging themselves.
An okay cushioning system comes on this model. Active Flex Suspension is used in conjunction with an Ortho Cushion walking belt to reduce the impact that running has on your joints and back. Keep in mind that orthopedic belts will reduce the life of components. Also, you can find treadmills with similarly forgiving and durable running surfaces that sell for $1,500.
As far as projected reliability is concerned, this machine doesn't live up to its price. There are a few treadmills that cost slightly more than $1,000 that have comparable life expectancies. The quality of parts used is also well below what should be seen on a model with a $4,599 price tag.
The warranty on the BH T9 is good. Labor is covered for 2 years, parts are covered for 10 years, and the motor and frame are covered for life. BH can afford impressive warranties because of the high price of their machines.
