The Guardsman Protection Plan covers eligible parts for mechanical and electrical defects, as well as qualifying wear and tear that affects the part's proper functionality.
When does the coverage begin?
Coverage for failures begins when the manufacturer's original parts warranty expires. Coverage for power surge damage begins on your plan purchase date (or your part delivery date, if different). Both continue for the term shown on your plan receipt.
Which products are eligible?
Eligible products are marked on their product page, and the plan can be added during checkout.
How do I file a claim?
File a claim online at MyProtectionPlan360.com or call toll-free 1-800-342-5349, available 24/7. Have your plan receipt and part receipt ready.
Is there a deductible?
No. There is a $0 deductible on covered claims.
What happens when a product cannot be repaired?
If a covered part cannot be repaired, Guardsman will provide a replacement or reimbursement.
Can I cancel my plan?
Yes. You can cancel at any time with no cancellation fee. Cancel within 30 days for a full refund, or after 30 days for a pro-rated refund, minus any claims paid. See the full plan terms.
Is this available for commercial or business purchases?
No. The plan covers parts for equipment used for personal or residential use only. Equipment used in a commercial, business, rental, educational or similar setting is not eligible.
