True Z5.0 Treadmill Review

treadmill Doctor Note :

The classic design that put True on the map. It is a great design if you want a full-featured, quality treadmill and have limited room. Also is quiet and soft- not bad but what you expect for nearly $4k.

If you need a compact unit and have a nice sized budget, it is impossible to get better than True. The update from the older Z series just makes it better.

The True Z5.0 is an impressive treadmill, and it should be. It costs $3,799, so you have to have plenty of room in your budget before you consider this model. If you do, it's one of the best you can get. It was the 3rd runner up for our Best Buy award in the $3,000-3,999 price range.

The walking area isn't bad, considering the space saving design. The belt measures in at 54" x 20". It's a good 6" shorter than the standard 60" x 20" belt. Larger users that are used to the longer belt may notice that they feel a bit more cramped, but it should be large enough to fit a variety of people.

The motor on this machine doesn't do much to impress. You can find some models that sell for less than $1,000 that have similar power producing capabilities. The highest speed you can reach is 12 mph, which should be plenty to challenge even experience runners.

The cushioning system is really good. An orthopedic belt is used to reduce some of the impact that running has on your joints and back. This is one of the more forgiving running surfaces you'll find on one of today's treadmills.

The projected reliability is fantastic. Even at this price, the life expectancy is a little longer than one might expect. The quality of parts does not disappoint. You just don't see parts of this high quality in very many models.

The noise level is extremely good. There are very few models that can operate with less noise than this one makes. If this is a major area of concern for you, you should definitely look at this treadmill.

The warranty for the True Z5.0 is good. Labor is covered for 1 year, parts are covered for 10 years, and the motor and frame are covered for life. This warranty really shows that True has confidence in this model and, more specifically, in the parts they used.
