True ES 900 Treadmill Review
treadmill Doctor Note :
Our Best Buy winner for the top price range! True is building a unique machine and it is rather exclusive too considering the price. With all of this in mind, there is nothing else I would want in a treadmill personally if I had an unlimited budget.
If price is no object and you have quietness and cushioning as big factors, forget commercial models and go with this True. True has spent years refining these aspects of the machines and they do a better job than anyone.
This treadmill isn't cheap, as it will cost you $5,899, but True really did their part to make this machine worth it. It won our Best Buy award for treadmills costing $4,000 or more. There is no area that falls short, so if you want a great treadmill and aren't worried about the cost, give this model a look.
The motor in this treadmill is good. It's not the best, but it should generate enough power for even serious runners to appreciate. There are some cheaper models, costing around $2,000, that can use a motor with similar capabilities, but you'll lose some quality in other important areas if you choose those machines over this one.
The cushioning system on this treadmill is phenomenal. It uses an orthopedic belt with True Soft System cushioning to reduce the impact that your joints encounter while running. It's one of the best cushioning systems you'll find on the market. Only Woodway and a select few models from Freemotion offer better impact reducing technology.
We believe this machine will be able to last for a long time. Even with daily use from multiple users, this treadmill should be able to deliver quality performance time and time again. There are very few models that we expect to be able to withstand the stress of repeated use as well as this treadmill, and we certainly don't believe any of the cheaper models will hold up longer.
The quietness factor for this treadmill is off the charts. If a low-noise operation is important to you, you should definitely consider this model. There is no model available that can claim to make less noise during use than this one, and only Woodway offers models that are as quiet as this one.
The warranty is really good, although maybe not quite up to par with the cost and quality of this machine. There are some companies selling treadmills at or below $2,000 that will offer a similar warranty. Labor is covered for 2 years, parts for 10 years, and the frame and motor for life.
