Sole F65 Treadmill Review
treadmill Doctor Note :
This model kind of gets lost in the shuffle. Icon is really strong at this price point and if you want a Sole, we would go with either the F63 or the F80.
If you are considering this one I would step up to the F80. You get more bang for your buck with the F80.
The Sole F65 is one of those rare instances of a good treadmill not being a good choice. Within the Sole brand you can find much better options, and at $1,299, there are similarly priced models that provide you with more value.
A nice motor powers this machine. Many of the models that are sold around the same price have similar power producing capabilities, but you'll have to pay an extra $1,000 before you start seeing motors that are appreciably better. Speeds of up to 12mph are attainable with this model, so even experienced runners should be able to challenge themselves.
The cushioning system that comes with this model is okay, but it's nothing special. A low-impact deck and shock absorbing design were used to reduce the impact of running on your joints and back. It's a pretty appropriate running surface for this price. You can find better that sell for less, and you can find worse that sell for more.
As far as projected reliability is concerned, this treadmill is pretty impressive. There are some models with a longer life expectancy in this price range, but there aren't many. Several models that cost more than $2,000 aren't expected to last any longer than this one. The quality of parts is also notable.
The warranty on the Sole F65 is okay. Labor is covered for 1 year; parts, electronics, and the deck are covered for 3 years; and the motor and frame are covered for life. At this price, this amount of coverage is neither disappointing nor exciting.
