High quality components and big belt make this one to use for any application.

The NordicTrack Incline Trainer X7i is a dependable treadmill that sells for $1,799. As an incline trainer, it gives you several different options for your exercise routine. If versatility is a major concern for you, you should give this model and the other incline trainers a look.

The running surface is quite large. At 20" x 62", it's a solid 2" longer than the standard belt you'll find on most of today's treadmills. This is a large enough surface to accommodate very large strides comfortably. Keep in mind, however, that the console will block your ability to use part of the belt when this machine is set at high inclines.

The motor isn't bad in this model. You can find some treadmills that sell for less that have more power producing capabilities, but you're just as likely to find a model selling for $1,000 more that produces less power. You can reach speeds of up to 12 mph, which should be plenty to challenge even experienced runners.

This machine has one of the better cushioning systems you'll find in this price range. Reflex cushioning is used to alleviate some of the impact that running has on your joints and back. You'll have to spend more than $4,000 to find a running surface that is significantly more forgiving than this one.

The projected reliability of this treadmill is very good. There aren't many models in this price range that we expect to last as long as this one. The quality of parts is better than you would expect considering the cost. It helps that this is an incline trainer, as well. High inclines allow gravity to assist the motor and components in keeping the belt moving, which extends their life.

The warranty on the NordicTrack Incline Trainer X7i is impressive. Labor is covered for 2 years; parts and electronics are covered for 5 years; and the motor, deck, and frame are covered for life. This is exactly the kind of warranty you hope for. It shows that the manufacturer has faith in their product.
