NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro Treadmill Review
treadmill Doctor Note :
Arguably the best NordicTrack ever made. We bought our test model from NordicTrack about 2 years ago. I lost over 100 lbs. on this machine and it has never had a problem.
If they carry through on service, this is a runner's treadmill without equal in its price point. If you can find it for their "sale" price of less than $2000, you should have your head examined if you don't buy it.
The NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro is one of the best treadmills made by a company known for great machines and poor service. At $1,999, it's a deal you shouldn't pass up. This was the 2nd runner up for our Best Buy award in the Best Fold-Up category.
The walking area is quite large. At 22" x 60", you're getting a belt that is 2' wider than the standard belts you'll find on today's treadmills. If you have a wider stance than the average person, you may find this machine to provide a more comfortable running surface.
The motor in this machine is really good. There are a few models in this price range that have more power producing capabilities, but this one is near the top. It even compares favorably with several treadmills that cost $1,000 more.
The cushioning system on this model is one of the best you'll find at this price point. Quadflex cushioning is used to reduce the impact that running has on the joints and back. There are a few treadmills that cost around $2,000 with similarly forgiving running surfaces, but there aren't any that are better.
As far as projected reliability is concerned, you're not going to find any models doing better at this price. Several other treadmills in this price range have a similar life expectancy, but there are also many more expensive models that we don't expect to last as long. The quality of parts in this machine is exactly what you'd expect considering the price. Not every model that costs this much can say the same.
The warranty on the NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro is good. Labor is covered for 2 years; parts and electronics are covered for 5 years; and the frame, deck, and motor are covered for life. It's not exactly an earth shattering amount of coverage, but it's not disappointing either.
