Lifefitness F3 Go Console Treadmill Review
treadmill Doctor Note :
Nice touches on the new redesigned packaging. Really overpriced for what you get. With the improvements made by Sole and the more aggressive prices from Precor, this one has problems with the competition.
If you need a foldup, this is a great option, although a pricey one. If you need the extra programming, go with the Track console model. You really pay for the Lifefitness name, but that is something we've come to expect with consumer goods.
The Lifefitness F3 Go Console is a nice treadmill that folds up for convenient storage. It is, however, overpriced at $2,599. Other companies have put out better models in this price range, as well as similar models that sell for less.
The walking area is a decent size. The belt measures in at 20" x 55", which is a good 5" shorter than the standard 20" x 60" walking belt found on most of today's treadmills. This should still be enough room for larger users to run on comfortably without altering their stride.
A price appropriate motor comes in this model. You can find treadmills capable of producing more power at lower prices just as easily as you can find treadmills capable of producing less power at higher prices. You can reach speeds of up to 10 mph with this machine, so most users should be able to challenge themselves.
You'll get a slightly subpar cushioning system with this treadmill. FlexDeck Shock Absorption System is used to reduce the impact that running has on your joints and back. You can easily get a more durable and forgiving running surface on models that cost $1,000 less than this one does.
As far as projected reliability is concerned, this model does very well. There aren't many treadmills in this price range that have a longer life expectancy than this one. The quality of parts is also very good when you consider the price.
The warranty on the Lifefitness F3 Go Console is good. Labor is covered for 1 year, electrical and mechanical parts are covered for 5 years, the motor is covered for 10 years, and the frame and Lifespring shock absorbers are covered for life. This is the kind of coverage that can make you feel at ease with your purchasing decision.
