Lifefitness Club Series Treadmill Review

treadmill Doctor Note :

The Club Series borrows heavily from their commercial units. Just when you thought everyone was going to increase prices this year, Lifefitness held the line on price. I guess even the rich people are looking for a deal this year.

Very solid unit. It is hard to go wrong with this one if you have the cash. If you don't have the cash, it is worth begging and borrowing in order to get it. Arguably the best value in the Lifefitness lineup.

The Lifefitness Club Series is one of the best treadmills you can get from Lifefitness. At $5,499, it's not exactly cheap, but it's worth the money. The quality you get from this machine is hard to beat at any price.

The walking area is a good size. The belt measures in at 20" x 60". This is the standard size walking belt for most of today's treadmills, and it should provide plenty of room for larger users to run on comfortably without altering their stride.

You get a fantastic motor in this machine. There aren't many treadmills that we reviewed that have power producing capabilities that are comparable to this machine, and none have better. You can reach speeds of up to 12 mph on this machine, so even if you train regularly, you should be able to challenge yourself with this treadmill.

A nice cushioning system comes on this model. FlexDeck shock absorption system is used to reduce the impact that running has on your joints and back. This cushioning system is better than most, but you can find a few models starting at $4,000 that have a more forgiving or durable running surface.

As far as projected reliability is concerned, this treadmill is great. It's life expectancy is even favorable when compared with models that cost up to $3,000 more than this one does. The quality of parts used is very impressive, and it shows why this unit costs $5,499.

The warranty on the Lifefitness Club Series is good. Labor is covered for 1 year; electrical and mechanical parts are covered for 10 years; and the frame, Lifespring shock absorbers, and motor are covered for life. This kind of coverage should help ease the anxiety that comes with making a $5,000+ investment.
