Landice L8 Cardio Trainer Treadmill Review

treadmill Doctor Note :

Basically the L7 model with the extended running length and width. If you really want to try out the 12 MPH capability of this machine, having an extra 9" helps.

Overall Rating: 7.46

For those serious runners who need higher speeds and more room, the L8 is worth the extra, otherwise stick with the L7 series.

The Landice L8 Cardio Trainer is a very nice treadmill. the L8 series differs from the L7 mostly in the size of the walking belt. The additional size of the belt does affect the quality of this machine, but not by much. It's still only going to require minimal maintenance. At $5,199, you're paying more for the Landice name than anything else.

The walking area is the largest you'll find. The belt measures in at 22" x 63", which is a good 2" wider and 3" longer than the standard 20" x 60" walking belt that is found on many of today's treadmills. If you plan on using this model at its highest speeds, you'll find the extra room to be very nice.

A nice motor powers this machine, but you can find treadmills selling for around $2,000 that have similar power producing capabilities. Speeds of up to 12 mph are attainable, so even serious runners should have no problem challenging themselves.

A good cushioning system comes on this model. The Standard VFXPlus Shock Absorption Deck is used to reduce the impact that running has on your joints and back. You can find plenty of cheaper treadmills that use comparable cushioning, but it's very rare to find a model that has a more forgiving or durable running surface without paying significantly more.

As far as projected reliability is concerned, this machine is great. If you want a treadmill with a longer life expectancy, you're going to have to spend more money on it. The quality of parts used is also impressive, and that's taking into account the $5,199 price tag.

The warranty on the Landice L8 Cardio Trainer is fantastic. Labor is covered for 1 year and all parts are covered for life. It's hard to find a warranty better than this one.
