HealthRider H110t Treadmill Review
treadmill Doctor Note :
A great looking machine from Icon - that is a common result for them. High quality parts in the right area. They have made some big changes in their customer service - it looks like it will be for the better.
This is not a club quality treadmill but it looks like it. For $1500 some compromises still have to be made but you get quality parts in key areas.
The HealthRider H110t is a nice treadmill that uses quality components in the areas they are most needed. The look of this machine is very impressive. This may not be the best treadmill you can get in this price range, but if you just want something to show off without emptying your bank account, this is your best bet.
The walking area is a good size. The belt measures in at 20" x 60", which is the standard size for walking belts on today's treadmills. This should provide plenty of room for larger users to run on comfortably without altering their stride.
A good motor powers this machine. You can find treadmills that cost more than $2,000 that don't have the power producing capabilities that this one has. Speeds of up to 12 mph are attainable, so even experienced runners should have no problem challenging themselves.
A cushioning system that won't disappoint comes on this model. HealthRider claims that their cushioning provides "the perfect balance of comfort and joint protection." There are several treadmills that cost $1,000 more that have running surfaces that aren't as forgiving or durable as this one.
As far as projected reliability is concerned, this machine is okay. Most of the models in this price range have a slightly longer life expectancy, however. The quality of parts used isn't bad. Some corners were cut to keep the price low, but good components were used in the areas where it matters most.
The warranty on the HealthRider H110t is good. Labor is covered for 2 years, parts are covered for 5 years, and the motor and frame are covered for life. This is about the best warranty you can find for an treadmill that cost less than $2,000. It really shows that HealthRider has faith in this models ability to last.
