Epic A30T Treadmill Review
treadmill Doctor Note :
Solid frame with good key components make for a good value. Being able to tilt the console to help you view it correctly is a good idea.
If you are new to treadmills, this model will be more than enough for most people. High quality along with a sturdy frame make for a very nice starter treadmill.
The Epic A30T is a solid treadmill. At $1,099, it is excellent for those who want to begin a running or walking routine. The ability to tilt the console is something we've already heard compliments about. The biggest drawback of this machine is the warranty. We wouldn't call it awful, but it's certainly lacking considering the durability of this model.
The walking area is a good size. The belt measures in at 20" x 60", which is the standard size for walking belts on today's treadmills. This should provide plenty of room for larger users to run on comfortably without altering their stride.
A very nice motor powers this machine. It has greater power producing capabilities than most in its price range, and it even tops several of the models that cost more than $2,000. Speeds of up to 12 mph are attainable, so even experienced runners should have no problem challenging themselves.
A good cushioning system comes on this model. EnergyReturn Cushioning is used to reduce the impact that running has on your joints and back. You're unlikely to find a more forgiving and durable running surface without paying at least a couple hundred extra dollars for it.
As far as projected reliability is concerned, this machine is very impressive. The life expectancy of this treadmill tops almost every model in its price range. The quality of parts used is also very high for such an affordable treadmill. You'll usually have to pay at least $200 more to find a machine that uses better components.
The warranty on the Epic A30T isn't very good. Labor is covered for 1 year, parts are covered for 3 years, and the motor and frame are covered for life. If you are willing spend a couple hundred dollars more on your treadmill, you'll start seeing much better warranties.
