Last year I beat the proverbial dead horse to death over and over again about Smooth's lack of innovation on their existing elliptical designs. Maybe they are having the last laugh? While every other elliptical manufactuer, Sole excluded, is raising prices Smooth has been able to hold the line and offer the same product at last year's price. So when I was writing about how Smooth was solid but getting dated last year, now they are a better value and the competitors are just trying to survive and stay in business during a down economy. |
