If you are looking for a compact unit, I was much more impressed with the Horizon Evolve than the Smooth 4.25. This is a good idea- obviously since two companies are trying it but for right now, Horizon wins.

Smooth's attempt at a compact unit is not a bad effort. There are some glitches that need to be fixed- for instance our test model lacks a safety switch for the folding mechanism- you can fold it down while the treadmill is running!
