The EFX 5.23 is the new lower end for the Precor lineup that we presume is going to eventually replace the EFX 5.17. You save $100 off of the EFX 5.17 but Precor has also made some cost cutting efforts in quality and construction. All in all this is a fine elliptical and we wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Just remember that you will be paying a premium for the Precor name. |
