Octane is one of the companies that we expect to survive the bankruptcy shakeout that is coming to the fitness industry during this recession. They will do this because they make an acceptable product, are good at marketing, and only specialize in ellipticals. This helps them to have lower costs. Why they don't pass on some of the savings to consumers is beyond me. The price increase they added this year makes many of their competitors more attractive. |
