The Nordic Track Elite 1300 was our best buy pick for the $999 price point last year. This was due to the fact that Costco was distributing it and they operate on extremely low margins. Icon has made some upgrades to the quality and is bringing it back for 2008. Unfortunately Costco wants a new unit to sell (a fact which we don't understand) and Icon is finding alternative distribution due to it's success. At a $400 increase I think it is pushing the envelope, but with the lack of complaints in comparison to the number of units sold--this machine is a solid buy.
