Review Comments:
The Lifefitness X 3 Basic is a similar product to the X 1. It is hard to justify that additional money ($600) for heart rate grips and very little perceptible difference in quality of component or design when comparing it to the X 1. We would look up in the Lifefitness lineup if you are looking to buy the Lifefitness name, namely the X 7 series or the X 9 i. If you are one of those people who just love this elliptical when you are trying it out or are otherwise constrained to purchase this particular unit, please don't email me. You are not getting screwed by buying this machine. It will perform just like it is supposed to after you buy it. At least with Lifefitness, you will get what you pay for which is more than we can say for some companies. I just believe that there are better options available.
