The Lifefitness X 1 Basic is the opening price point in the Lifefitness elliptical lineup. On the positive side this unit has the classic Lifefitness stride and decent quality. The negatives are that you are paying a premium to have the name Lifefitness on the side and you can get better ellipticals for $400 to $600 less. If you like the feel of this unit you may want to try the Diamondback 860 Er as a lower cost alternative.
