Paying $2199 for a LifeFitness X1 is ridiculous when you can pay $1599 for a Precor EFX 5.21. Since Precor reset the value proposition for quality ellipticals this year with their new pricing, they have left companies like Octane and especially LifeFitness looking foolish for trying to sell these machines at these prices. Why would you pay $500 more for a lesser quality machine.
