E44 Error Code
Includes Keys, Ironman, Alliance, Milestone, Encore, HealthTrainer, some Smooth models, some CardioZone models, Galyans, and several other brands.
Meaning of code:
Membrane or dome switches are stuck or defective on the console. In less common instances, we have seen some console PCB failures but it is typically in the switches. |
First disconnect the switches from the PCB and try calibrating the machine with the calibration help topic. If you still get the E44 error code, a bad PCB is present. |
Test all the keys on the console. You should feel or hear a click or feel the switch depressing. If not the switches need to be replaced. |
If all the switches feel fine or click, a bad PCB needs replacing.
