These have performed better than we expected but with a $200 price increase this year, the cheaper TC1000 makes much more sense.

The same comments from the TC1000 would apply to this one as well. It has a better electronics package than the TC1000 but you are going to plunk down $2100 of your hard-earned money on one of these.
