Our best buy winner from last year loses some of its luster after some corners are cut and the price goes up by $300. Once you start getting in this range, several other much larger companies have just as strong of a treadmill at a competitive price.

Although it was gee-whiz a couple of years ago, the quality of most Chinese machines has improved dramatically and closed the gap on Bodyguard. With the increased cost and downgrades in components, this one is a tougher sale.
