I am not a fan of the sub $1000 AFG ellipticals. While not bad units, I believe that you will get a better value out of the Horizon branded units available from many mass merchants like Sears, Sports Authority and Dick's Sporting Goods. This is due to the feature requirements and lower margins that mass merchants are willing to live with in contrast to Specialty fitness dealers. I don't think the service you will get will make up for the loss in quality in this price range. My opinion does not, however extend to the plus $1000 AFG units.
